Sheep Herding, Hulunbeier, Inner Mongolia.

Spend the last 2 days with a local sheep herder. It was truly an eye-opening experience.

Your photos in the Hulunbeier are breathtaking and some of them reminded me of my three-year life (1970-1972) as a so-called "Educated youth" peasant in a village at the Aihui County of Heilongjiang Province, which is situated on the Heilongjiang River (right on the Russian boarder). We used to ride horses to go to field-work at 4:00 AM in the summer in order to avoid the hot sun at noon, and took a bath (swim)in the river in the evenings.

I am sure your experiences from these trips will benefit you for the rest of your life.

Take care and continue to enjoy your well-worth travel experience.

Ethan,

greetings from Taiwan. I am back home safely, realising I got so dark and strong after three weeks' exploration in China. I had a great time, learning and seeing so much that definately last for a lifetime. I am also so blessed to have a reliable partner as you, making everything much safer and easier. Hope there will be chances for us to get together with other friends and explore 新疆&西藏together...( Just let me finish my GMAT& b-school app. first )

Best,

Hey,

Your trip wouldn't stop to keep me amazed! Initially I thought you were going to Taiwan for just a bit and now you're all over the place, even on the grasslands in Inner Mongolia. This is way cooler than road trips in the US.

Take care,
Kendall
